TEACHER-DAY-MESSAGE pdf

Greetings on Teachers’ Day

The former President of India, the late Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, had named his birthday as Teachers’ Day.  And so, September 5 was celebrated as Teachers’ Day instead of Radhakrishna Jayanti.  Dr.Radhakrishnan himself was a teacher.  Teacher’s Day is a recognition of the esteemed position of teachers at the national level. Conscious nations admire their teachers because teachers shape and nurture future generations and these future generations are the heart and soul of nations. The future of a nation will mirror the quality of its teachers.  India is the most populous country in the world and one of the youngest in terms of demographics. India’s energetic and growing youth have the right to access quality education, and it is the responsibility of the government to make this possible for every student.  Our country’s first education commission was headed by Dr. Radhakrishnan. The commission’s biggest focus was on moral education. In today’s context, teachers should impart moral education to their students and help them identify the values of humanity and self-reflection. “True teachers are the ones who help us reflect upon ourselves,” Radhakrishnan had said.  This message of Dr. Radhakrishnan also needs to be implemented on this occasion. Teachers are requested and requested that they will shape the future of the country with great diligence and attention.  The students who will be shaped through the best possible form of education will be the real reward and gift for these efforts.  Many congratulations to such teachers on behalf of Markazi Taleemi Board.
