It gives me immense pleasure to present the website of the  Markazi Taleemi Board (Central Education Board) of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind. I pray to Almighty Allah for granting success to the Board in its endeavors. May Allah guide the Board’s leadership and staff at every step and make them the source for paving the way for a revolution in the field of education.

The road towards establishing a better future passes through the fields of education. The Islamic Movement (“Tehreek”) dreams of and shows the dream of a new and transformed society. For such a Movement, teaching and learning are one of the important and natural fields of efforts and endeavours. Our system of education should be compatible with the positive changes happening in the
world. On the one hand, it has to be compatible with the fundamental values of Islam, and on the other, it has to fulfill the requirements of a diverse and multi-cultural society. The responsibility of the Markazi Taleemi Board is to organize various subject experts, utilize the different experiments and researches going on at the international level, try to evolve and improve the concept, and design a better curriculum, education system and education institutions. Along with education institutions, many other institutions, like all those who train teachers, offer consultancy to education institutions, prepare curriculum, do education-research, create education awareness and offer psychological counselling of teachers, students, and parents. We should develop some kind of coordination and commitment between such diverse institutions, organizations, and movements. Insha’Allah, we hope and pray that the Markazi Taleemi Board will help in achieving these objectives. By working along these lines, it is expected that the Markazi Taleemi Board will make progress in the field of education- research and shall implement its Central Education Policy. Alhamdulillah, the Board along with its capable committees and its secretariat is busy in trying to achieve these objectives. I pray to Allah to accept the efforts of the Markazi Taleemi Board and give them an opportunity to play a useful role for the Muslim community and all the citizens of India and to design an excellent and useful education-system.
