Mr. Mujtaba Farooq, born on June 6, 1959, in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, is a respected leader in education and social service with over three decades of experience. A prolific writer and eloquent speaker, he has significantly impacted social, political, and educational discussions, particularly in the context of minority rights and human rights advocacy.
Mr. Farooq has served as the Chairman of the Markazi Taleemi Board and is currently a member of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind's Central Advisory Council. He has held key positions such as JIH National Secretary, State President of JIH Maharashtra, and the first National President of the Welfare Party of India. He is actively involved with various NGOs and educational institutions, providing leadership and guidance. His work has taken him to national and international platforms, where he continues to champion social upliftment and educational progress.
