Syed Tanveer Ahmed, born on 5th May 1964 in Bidar, Karnataka, is a distinguished leader with over two decades of experience in management and education. He holds a degree from the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore, and a postgraduate qualification in Business Management and Administration. His early commitment to social causes was evident during his college years, where he served as All India Secretary for the Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO) from 1990 to 1995.
With a rich background in education, Syed Tanveer has been instrumental in various educational initiatives, including teacher training, parenting classes, and career guidance. His leadership extended to his tenure as the Secretary for Education at JIH Karnataka from 2015 to 2019.
In the media realm, Syed Tanveer has made significant contributions as the former editor of Karnataka Muslims, a fortnightly newspaper. His passion for Islamic education led him to publish monthly magazines such as Islamic Quiz for children and Nisa for girls. An accomplished writer, he has authored over a hundred articles on education, learning, and current issues.
