New Delhi, January 2, 2025 – The Markazi Taleemi Board (MTB) conducted its Executive Board meeting online to review progress, address challenges, and plan for future initiatives.
Engineer Mohammad Saleem, Chairman of MTB, in his presidential address commended the efforts of the board, stating that while substantial progress had been made, some areas still required greater attention. He assured the members that future efforts would focus on these gaps to enhance the board’s impact. He also proposed holding offline Executive Board meetings at least once or twice a year to facilitate better planning and execution of annual goals.
The Secretary of MTB, Mr. Syed Tanveer Ahmed, during the open session responded to questions raised by the executive members and thanked them for their valuable suggestions. He highlighted the board’s achievements, which included the Online Teachers’ Empowerment Lecture Series, Teachers’ and Masters’ Training Programs, preparation of curriculum books, the launch of the Nazra-e-Quran Project, and the expansion of Islamiyat Deeni Makatib across India. He acknowledged that despite limited resources and manpower, the board had made significant progress. However, he also emphasized the need to address certain weaknesses and promised to implement the suggestions made by the executive members, particularly in forming and strengthening focus groups.

The staffs of MTB like Fareed Ahmed, Research Scholar; Maulana Inamullah Falahi, Coordinator of Juzwaqti Makatib; Ashfaque Ahmed, Coordinator at MTB; and Zahoor Ahmed, Coordinator of the Teachers’ Empowerment Lecture Series presented detailed reports on their respective areas of work.
The meeting concluded with a commitment to implement the suggestions provided by the executive members. Both the Chairman and Secretary thanked the participants for their active participation and contributions, while seeking Allah’s guidance in advancing the board’s mission to promote quality education and community development.
