Jaipur, Rajasthan, June 22, 2026: Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Rajasthan, organized a one-day Orientation and Training Programme for teachers of part-time Maktabs in Jaipur, bringing together around 50 teachers and education volunteers from across the state.

Delivering the keynote address, Maulana Inamullah Falahi, Coordinator of Islamic Studies (Deeni Maktabs), Markazi Taleemi Board, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, emphasized the crucial role of Maktabs in nurturing faith, character, and moral values among children. He urged teachers and community members to work together to strengthen and expand the Maktab system.

Participants also took part in group discussions on the challenges facing part-time Maktabs and suggested practical measures for improving their effectiveness.

In his concluding remarks, the State Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Rajasthan, called upon teachers to carry out their educational responsibilities with sincerity and dedication. Participants appreciated the initiative and urged that similar training programmes be held regularly across the state.

The programme began with Qur’an recitation by Mr. Feroz Alam, followed by a welcome address from Mr. Shahid Khan. Mr. Azam Khan presented an overview of the current status of Maktabs in Rajasthan.

A meeting of senior office-bearers and Maktab coordinators followed the programme to discuss the expansion of the Maktab network in Rajasthan. During the meeting, Maulana Shareef was appointed as Assistant Convener for Part-Time Maktabs in the state.
