Zafarul Haq, an engineer-turned-educator with experience in teaching, teacher training, program management and educational research, is currently serving as Coordinator and Research Assistant at the Markazi Taleemi Board.
Coming from a humble background, Zafarul Haq began his education at a government Urdu-medium school in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. He later completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), Bhopal. Before joining Teach For India Fellowship in Hyderabad, he gained four years of teaching experience, developing a strong foundation in classroom teaching and student engagement.

His journey with Teach For India further broadened his experience in the education sector. After completing the two year fellowship, he served as a Program Manager in the challenging region of Ladakh and later worked as a Program Manager with Teach For India, Delhi.

Across these roles, he has developed expertise in teaching, teacher training, classroom management, program coordination and educational management. His experience of working directly with students and teachers, as well as managing education programs, gives him a practical and research-oriented perspective on educational challenges.
