New Dellhi, 10th September 2024— In a significant step toward empowering students with essential career guidance, the Markazi Taleemi Board of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, in partnership with Anjuman Talaba-e-Qadeem Jamiat-ul-Falah Delhi Unit, hosted a comprehensive Career Counseling Program in Delhi. The initiative brought together distinguished figures from education and social services, providing students with critical insights into their future career paths.

Mr. Mohd. Irshad Alam, Secretary of Anjuman Talaba-e-Qadeem delivered the welcome address at the Career Counseling Program. 

He expressed immense pleasure in welcoming all attendees to the event and introduced Anjuman Talaba-e-Qadeem, highlighting its objectives and ongoing efforts. Mr. Irshad Alam also explained the purpose behind organizing the Career Counseling Program, emphasizing its significance in guiding students toward informed career choices.

The event featured esteemed speakers, including Professor Mohammad Salim Engineer, Vice President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, and Chairman of the Markazi Taleemi Board, who underscored the importance of balancing academic excellence with moral development in pursuing career goals. Dr. Syed Zafar Mahmood, President of Zakat Foundation of India, inspired attendees with his perspectives on social leadership and public service, while Dr. Tanveer Ikram, Principal and Professor at Comm-IT Career Academy, shared his expertise on emerging career opportunities in the fields of information technology and management. Additionally, Dr. Ataur Rahman Falahi, Deputy Director at Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), highlighted the role of skill development and distance learning in higher education.

During his keynote address, Professor Salim Engineer spoke about the transformative role the Markazi Taleemi Board is playing in shaping the future of students nationwide. “Education is about much more than earning degrees—it is about developing character, making informed career decisions, and contributing meaningfully to society,” he remarked. Under his leadership, the Markazi Taleemi Board has been instrumental in providing educational support and guidance, fostering holistic development for students from diverse backgrounds.

The Career Counseling Program offered students the opportunity to interact with industry leaders, gain insights into various professions, and understand the skills and qualifications necessary to thrive in an increasingly competitive global landscape.
