New Delhi, India 16th Dec. 2024: – The Islamiyat Deeni Makatib of Markazi Taleemi Board, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH), has officially launched its Online Nazra Quran & Islamic Education Program, aiming to provide quality Islamic education to students worldwide. The launching ceremony was held at Dawat Nagar, Abul Fazal Enclave, Jamia Nagar, and was inaugurated by T. Arif Ali, Secretary General of JIH.
Speaking at the event, T. Arif Ali emphasized the importance of Makatib (part-time Islamic schools) and online education in nurturing Islamic and moral values among children. He shared that such initiatives, though seemingly small, form the foundation of a child’s Islamic learning, including Quranic recitation, Hadith, supplications, and moral education. “These programs help shape responsible community members who contribute significantly to society and nation-building. Ultimately, such efforts serve as Sadqa Jariya for families, benefiting children in both this life and the Hereafter,” he noted.
Maulana Inamullah Falahi, Coordinator of the Online Nazra Quran & Islamic Education Project, highlighted the significance of this initiative, particularly for Muslim students studying in private and government schools, who often lack access to Islamic and moral education. “This program enables students from any part of the world to learn Nazra Quran, Hadith, and Islamic values through personalized one-to-one online classes. Each student will be guided by an expert teacher to ensure focused and high-quality education,” he remarked.
At the ceremony, the Secretary of the Markazi Taleemi Board emphasized that the online classes have been thoughtfully designed to be engaging, interactive, and child-friendly. He added, “The aim is to create a positive and encouraging learning environment so that children feel motivated and excited to participate in the Nazra Quran and Islamic education sessions.”
He further highlighted that the program’s innovative approach will make learning enjoyable, ensuring that students not only gain knowledge but also develop a deep connection with Islamic teachings.
The program is supervised by the Holistic Education Trust and offers individualized online classes, with female teachers available for girls. Its comprehensive curriculum includes Nazra Quran with proper pronunciation, basic Islamic beliefs (Aqaid), rituals (Ibadat), Seerah and Islamic history, and a focus on character refinement and social values.
The program was attended by Mr. Saleemullah Khan (Ameer Halqa, JIH, Delhi), Mr. Rizwan Ahmed Rafique (Assistant Secretary, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind), Dr. Ataur Rahman Falahi (Member of the Administrative Committee, Jamiat-ul-Falah), Dr. Saadat Hussain (Education Expert), and several other distinguished personalities.
During the ceremony, several expert teachers, principals, and community leaders discussed strategies to expand the program globally and maximize its impact within the Muslim community.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to enroll their children in this transformative program, which aims to create well-rounded individuals who contribute meaningfully to their community and nation.
