He has been serving in social service, especially in education sector for the last four decades. After completing his academic, he taught for 6 years. Later he held several positions of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Uttar Pradesh halqua. Besides, he also held positions of secretary and Vice president in other organizations likes Falah e Aam Society (U.P.), Forum for democracy and communal amity, U.P.

Thereafter, he took JIH’s national responsibilities by becoming JIH’s secretary for organizational affair, Secretary General (Qayyim-e-Jamaat) of JIH and also Vice President (Deputy Ameer) of JIH.

Currently, he is Chairman of JIH’s Central Education Board (Markazi Taleemi Board), Chairman of the Society for Bright Future (a national NGO) having headquarters in Delhi which is working on disaster management. He is also Members of the working committee (Majlis-e-Aamla) of All India Muslim Personal Law Board and All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat. Besides these, he is also member of eight other trusts, societies and institutions working their respective fields.

He did volunteer work also. He worked and organized teachers’ training camp, several relief and rehabilitation camps for floods and earthquake affected areas, participated in hundreds of seminars, symposiums and debates and addressed the public gatherings.

He can speak and write several languages like Urdu, English and Hindi, but he can understand and read Arabic and Sanskrit also.

He wrote 10 articles in Urdu which published in Dawat, Zindagi-e-Nau and other Urdu magazines, 4 articles published in English bi-weekly radiance and other English newspapers and 30 articles published in Hindi in Kanti weekly, monthly and other Hindi newspapers.

He visited many places of India and foreign countries like Pakistan Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain for the social and educational work.
