Aim of the Beti Padhao Scholarship

The scholarship aims to break down financial barriers for young women from a poor background, providing them the opportunities to pursue their academic goals. This initiative of the Beti Padhao Scholarship for students of Barbil aligns with the government’s work to encourage girls to pursue higher education.

Since its inception in March 2022, the ‘Beti Padhao Scholarship’ initiative has positively impacted nearly 650 underprivileged young women from states like Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, and Odisha.

AM/NS India aims to provide financial assistance to underprivileged women, aligning with the International Women’s Day theme of 2024 ‘Inspire Inclusion’.
