From August 23 to August 25, 2024, Syed Tanveer Ahmed, the National Secretary of the Markazi Taleemi Board and General Secretary of the Federation of Muslim Educational Institutions (FMEI), conducted a series of impactful teacher training workshops in Gujarat. These sessions, held in Ahmedabad and Modasa, aimed to enhance the professional development of educators and strengthen the educational framework in the region.

The tour began on August 23 with a workshop at Al Falah Islamic School in Ahmedabad, where over 100 teachers gathered. Syed Tanveer Ahmed emphasized the importance of integrating moral and ethical values into daily teaching practices. He guided educators on fostering holistic student development and engaged them in discussions on innovative teaching methodologies.

On August 24, another workshop took place at Radiance English Medium School in Modasa, organized in collaboration with the Markazi Taleemi Board Gujarat. The event, attended by over 60 teachers, featured insightful discussions on the National Education Policy (NEP) and its comprehensive educational approach. Syed Tanveer Ahmed highlighted the role of educators in cultivating morally upright individuals and provided practical advice on lesson planning and time management.

The final workshop, held on August 25 in Juhapura, Ahmedabad, targeted part-time Maktab educators. Organized by Majlise Ulama Gujarat and the Markazi Taleemi Board, this session focused on the enduring significance of Maktabs in the Muslim community. Syed Tanveer Ahmed introduced the ‘Islamiyat’ curriculum and shared strategies to enhance the relevance and effectiveness of Maktabs.

Throughout these workshops, Syed Tanveer Ahmed’s emphasis on integrating moral values, adopting comprehensive teaching methods, and encouraging continuous professional development resonated strongly with the attendees. His visit to Gujarat was a resounding success, leaving a lasting impact on the region’s educators and contributing significantly to the advancement of education in Gujarat.
