Shimoga, Karnataka – January 12, 2025 – In a momentous event at the AIITA District Conference held in Shimoga, Karnataka, Maulana Muhammad Ali Qazi, Chairman of the Karnataka Urdu Academy, presented a special memento to Syed Tanveer Ahmed, Secretary of the Markazi Taleemi Board (MTB). This gesture recognized Syed Tanveer Ahmed’s ongoing contributions to educational reforms and his tireless work in promoting quality education across India.
The AIITA District Conference, attended by around 400 educators, provided a platform for teachers to engage in enriching discussions, exchange ideas, and foster collaboration to enhance educational practices. The conference focused on the importance of teacher training, innovation in educational methodologies, and the role of educators in shaping the future of students.
In his address, Syed Tanveer Ahmed highlighted the need for focused efforts in promoting quality education in minority communities, particularly for women and youth, and the importance of integrating modern educational technologies to bridge gaps in learning. He also emphasized the Markazi Taleemi Board’s initiatives in empowering teachers, upgrading curriculum, and advocating for greater government investment in education for marginalized groups.
It should be noted that The Markazi Taleemi Board, a wing of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, is committed to fostering quality, value-based education across India, with a focus on minorities. It plays a significant role in improving the educational standards in the country and advocates for the empowerment of marginalized communities through access to quality education and skill development.
