Jaipur, 29 Nov. 2012: Had we inculcated moral values in our students through education system,
the country would not have been inflicted with the disease of corruption, said Mohammad
Saleem Engineer, National Secretary, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind while speaking at Teachers
Convention organized by All India Islamic Teachers Association (AIITA) here on
28 th  November.
He also called upon the teachers to remove the shortcomings and lacuna of the education system
as much as we can. “We should also think to review the syllabus and the education system,” he
further said.
Addressing the program, Er. Khursheed Ahmed, Ameer-e-Halqa. Jamaat-e-e-Islami Rajasthan,
said teachers are the builders of the nation, they should be aware of their responsibilities and try
to execute them.  He also asked them to analyze the syllabus and the education system and
apprise the government and leaders of any shortcomings.
Mr. Inamur Rahman, national vice president of AIITA, presented the introduction of AIITA.
He said the main purpose behind formation of AIITA is to create better educational and moral
environment in educational institutions and to work for spreading education and knowledge in
the country.
The program opened with the reading of Quran by Mr. Waqar Ahmed, secretary, Jamaat-e-Islami
Rajasthan. He presented the Islamic view of education system and responsibilities of teachers.
Dr. Shareef Ahmed, President, Rajasthan chapter of AIITA, talked about the purpose of the
convention while the program was anchored by Mr. Heshamuddin, secretary, AIITA, Rajasthan.
